They say you should do what you love and love what you do – For me, that has always been feeding people.

Here you can find out more about my story, what draws me to offering afternoon tea deliveries in Surrey and surrounding counties – and just who Ruby is!

A little bit about me

For most of my life, my friends and family have joked that I love to feed people – I must confess, they're absolutely right! I have a huge passion for cooking and, even more importantly, watching people enjoy my food.

It all started by having friends over for dinner in my 20s and 30s, moving on to hosting full-on parties at our house in my 40s. Then, like many people, I hit 50 and decided that I wanted to add more into my life. I have been working in logistics for 30 years which has given me a wealth of organisational skills and a great understanding of people,.

So, I thought, why not combine passion and experience? From this, Ruby's Cream Teas was born.

 

 

 

 

But who is Ruby?

I get this question a lot!

Ruby was my most important confidant and companion for 12 years – My gorgeous tuxedo cat, who followed me everywhere I went. My husband often joked that she was my shadow.

I couldn't think of a better tribute to her than naming something else so close to my heart after her, cementing her legacy.

My aim is to make your event be the best it can be, no matter how big or small. For that reason, I can be as involved or as removed in the process as you'd like.

Looking for just afternoon tea delivery then not to worry, just complete my contact form and I will confirm your booking with not too much fuss.

Looking for something more? Then I'm your woman in a floury apron!

I'm happy to talk through any requests or customisations you had in mind to make your event perfect, whether it's just you and your best friend having an afternoon tea in the sunshine (Or more likely indoors in the rain – We do live in England after all!) or you want a bespoke wedding afternoon tea to celebrate with your friends. It's your event, and I'm here to help you make the most out of the occasion.

What services do you offer?

I offer afternoon teas delivered (or collected) in Surrey and the surrounding areas and if required I can hire vintage crockery too, available for events as small as tea for two and as big as weddings.

How can I be involved in the planning process?

Simple! Just contact me using the booking form or by calling me on 07393 979612, let me know that you're looking for and we can create something a little more bespoke.

Can I make custom requests for things not on the menus?

Absolutely. Simply let me know if there's something you're looking for in particular, and I will do whatever I can to source it for your afternoon tea.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please get in touch if you have any vegan, gluten-free or allergen requirements, and we can discuss how best I can ensure your afternoon tea is catered for and your safety is considered.
